Skill Analysis:In addition to increasing her troop's chance to use follow-up skills early in battle, speeding up overall DMG output, the skill also enhances follow-up skill DMG against the enemy troop with the highest COM, allowing other Heroes who rely on follow-up skills to join forces and take down high-COM targets together. [Thunder & Flame Strike]At the beginning, give the enemy troop with the highest current COM undispellable Thunder & Flame Strike: Mark, and grant own brigade's troop: Every 1 turn after a basic attack, there is a chance to deal Physical DMG to 1 enemy troop. If the target has Thunder & Flame Strike: Mark, deal an extra Physical DMG to it.※The skill DMG receives a bonus based on own MOR and a bonus based on own SPD. Skill Analysis:While serving as a primary DMG skill, it also allows for more DMG dealt to the enemy troop with high COM, making it especially effective at breaking through enemy defensive lines. [Wind & Thunder Path]At the beginning, grant own brigade's troop: Largely increase the chance of using own follow-up skill for 4 turns, reduced by 1 stack per turn, and grant own brigade's troop: Every 1 turn after a basic attack, there is a chance to increase own Physical DMG dealt for 3 turns, up to 3 stacks.※The skill effect receives a bonus based on own MOR and a bonus based on own SPD. Skill Analysis:Like Wind & Thunder Summon, the skill helps accelerate her troop's offensive speed. However, with Wind & Thunder Path, greater emphasis is placed on enhancing raw DMG output, allowing Gongsun Yan to unleash powerful attacks even as the sole DPS on a team.
Exclusive Weapon
Weapon Name: Swallow's ReturnMax Stats: Troop DMG+80%, MOR+21, SPD+5Weapon Effect:At the beginning, grant self: Largely increase the chance of using own active skill for 4 turns, reduced by 1 stack per turn, and every 1 turn, there is a chance to grant own brigade's troop Highest COM Lock-on: There is a 100% chance to prioritize attacking the unit with the highest COM.Swallow's Return can further boost the activation chance and stability of Gongsun Yan's early-game Highest COM Lock-on, allowing her attacks to consistently focus on the enemy troop with the highest COM and destroy it efficiently.
Team Compositions
Recommended: Gongsun Yan + Frey + Tachibana ChiyoUpgrade Priority: Wind & Thunder Path > Wind & Thunder Summon (1TP) > Thunder & Flame StrikeTeam Analysis:<Gongsun Yan> Wind & Thunder Path > Wind & Thunder Summon (1TP) > Thunder & Flame StrikeWith Thunder & Flame Strike as her primary DMG skill, Gongsun Yan benefits from the activation chance boosts provided by Wind & Thunder Path and Wind & Thunder Summon, allowing her to strike swiftly in the early phase of battle. The COM-targeting Thunder & Flame Strike: Mark ensures concentrated burst DMG against the enemy troop with the highest COM. When executed as a combo, this setup delivers fast and devastating hits to the enemy. However, since the activation boosts from Wind & Thunder Path and Wind & Thunder Summon gradually diminish over time, failing to land a decisive blow during the opening turns can be risky. If Gongsun Yan is the team's sole DPS, the lack of sustained DMG output may lead to a stall in offensive pressure. Players must then consider whether to build a team centered entirely around her for a focused offensive or to pair her with Heroes who can compensate for the potential DMG gap. <Frey> Maid's Trick > Omni-TrackingShe can provide additional follow-up DMG boosts while her EX Weapon enhances targeted DMG. This synergy allows Gongsun Yan to break through tanky enemy Heroes. Once a key enemy Hero is eliminated, the dual-DPS team can unleash explosive DMG on the remaining enemies. <Tachibana Chiyo> Ninpo: Mistveil > Ninpo: SwallowsNinpo: Mistveil significantly reduces incoming DMG during the early phase, giving Gongsun Yan the safety needed to operate at full force. Meanwhile, Ninpo: Swallows provides steady HP Recovery early on, helping her maintain maximum DMG output. Together, they form a fearsome early-game burst lineup.Alternatively, try the team compositions below:Gongsun Yan + Donietta + Ellie:Ellie's steady HP Recovery pairs well with Donietta's high DMG reduction and her EX Weapon's DMG boost. This setup gives Gongsun Yan the room needed to deliver early burst DMG and break through high-COM enemies without losing too much HP.Gongsun Yan + Francisca + Claire:Gongsun Yan's early-game nuke potential allows her to eliminate enemy tanks swiftly. This opens up opportunities for Francisca to apply Frontline Call: Mark to the enemy, forming a deadly offensive duo.

Lucia's Summary
Gongsun Yan is a COM-targeting Vanguard built for early-game aggression, specializing in single-target burst DMG. With the right support and cover from other Heroes, Gongsun Yan can apply enormous pressure on the enemy's defense. Though known as a pacifist within the Shenxiao Sect, that doesn't mean she'd shy away from combat. On the contrary—when peace is at stake, she won't hesitate to unleash the full might of a Sect elder to swiftly bring the battle to an end.
