Skill Overview

[Auspicious Scales]

[Counter-Attack Skill]

After taking a basic attack, there is a chance to grant self White Snake's Blessing, up to 10 stacks.

[Counter-Attack Skill]

After taking a basic attack, there is a chance to recover HP for 1 of own troops. If White Snake's Blessing reaches 10 stacks, recover an extra HP for all of own troops, up to 3 times per turn.

※The HP Recovery effect receives a bonus based on own MOR and COM.

Skill Analysis:

This skill stacks White Snake's Blessing whenever she takes a basic attack, while also healing 1 of own troops. Once the stacks reach 10, she heals the entire team. Her ability to keep recovering HP even while under attack significantly enhances the team's survivability.

[Guardian's Vow]

[Initiating Skill]

At the beginning, increase the counter-attack chance of Auspicious Scales and Phantom Backlash.

[Follow-up Skill]

After a basic attack from the troop, there is a chance to inflict Provoke on 2 enemy Heroes and troops: There is a 100% chance for the provoked target(s) to prioritize attacking self for 1 turn, and reduce own DMG taken for 1 turn.

※The skill effect and skill activation chance receive a bonus based on own MOR and COM.

Skill Analysis:

This skill boosts the counter-attack chance of Auspicious Scales and Phantom Backlash right from the start. Meanwhile, the Provoke effect from her follow-up skill draws the enemy's attacks onto herself and reduces the DMG she takes, letting Mashiro tie together the whole team's counter-attack rhythm while also holding the front line.

[Phantom Backlash]

[Counter-Attack Skill]

After taking a basic attack, there is a chance to grant self White Snake's Wrath, up to 10 stacks.

[Counter-Attack Skill]

After taking a basic attack, there is a chance to deal Magic DMG to 2 enemy troops. If White Snake's Wrath reaches 10 stacks, deal an extra Magic DMG to 1 enemy troop.

※The skill DMG receives a bonus based on own MOR and COM.

Skill Analysis:

This skill shares the same structure as Auspicious Scales—it likewise stacks White Snake's Wrath whenever she takes a basic attack, dealing Magic DMG to the enemy in the process. Once the stacks reach 10, she can land an extra hit on an enemy target. This lets Mashiro steadily build up damage output even as she's taking attacks, creating a dual effect of defense and counter-offense at once.

Exclusive Weapon

Weapon Name: Phantom Snake

Max. stats: MOR +9, COM +21, Troop HP +20%

[Initiating Skill]

At the beginning, increase the BRV for own brigade's troop.

[Counter-Attack Skill]

After taking a basic attack, there is a chance to reduce the DMG taken by all of own troops for 2 turns, up to 3 stacks.

Her EX Weapon increases the BRV for her troop right from the start of battle, and when the troop takes a basic attack, it further reduces the DMG taken by the whole team, stacking up to 3 times. This adds another layer of damage reduction to Mashiro's protective kit, making the team's ability to withstand damage even more solid.

Team Compositions

Recommended: Takanashi Mai + Mashiro + Unyouhime

Upgrade Priority: Auspicious Scales > Guardian's Vow > Phantom Backlash (1TP)

Team Analysis:

<Takanashi Mai> Dual Blade Waltz > Elusive Shadows

In the early turns, Takanashi Mai lowers the DMG her own brigade's troop takes with Elusive Shadows, weathering the enemy's early offense. Then, starting from turn 6, she unleashes a string of Physical attacks for a massive burst of damage with her Dual Blade Waltz, then keeps landing follow-up hits in the turns after that.

<Mashiro> Auspicious Scales > Guardian's Vow

By taking basic attacks to stack White Snake's Blessing, Mashiro keeps healing 1 of own troops, and once the stacks reach 10, the healing expands to the whole team. Paired with the Provoke effect and damage reduction from Guardian's Vow, this lets Mashiro consistently soak up the enemy's firepower and hold up the team's HP, staying steady even as the fight drags on.

<Unyouhime> Purifying Haze > Spiritual Flow

Unyouhime continuously lowers the damage her own troops take while stacking up an HP Recovery effect bonus. Since Takanashi Mai and Mashiro are both Heroes from Izumono-kuni, their basic attacks further raise the activation chance of these two skills, letting the rhythm of damage reduction and healing grow steadier as the battle goes on.

Alternatively, try the team compositions below:

Mashiro + Song Mingge + Leviathan

This composition leans on Mashiro's balance of attacking and healing, with Song Mingge and Leviathan working together to keep her HP topped up. The overall damage output isn't especially high, but the healing and damage reduction are both very stable—enough to steadily grind down a faster-paced enemy team.

Lucia's Summary

From a snake yokai of the deep mountains to a gentle protector of the village—Mashiro is a tender Shield who balances healing and damage output. Whether she's stacking effects off basic attacks to keep healing the team, or using Provoke and damage reduction to shield her allies, she lets the team grow stronger the longer the fight drags on. With proper use of Mashiro's gentle yet resilient protection, she'll carry the team through even the toughest war of attrition to victory!
